Is a bond required?

Yes, a refundable bond is collected at the time of booking and returned at the end of your hire, provided the gear is returned in the same condition.

How far do you deliver?

We deliver within a 15km radius of Taupō central, covering popular spots including Huka Falls, Aratiatia, Whakaipo Bay, Kinloch Village, Taupō Airport, and Mt. Tauhara. A delivery fee applies — not sure if you're in range? Get in touch and we'll let you know!

What if something gets damaged?

Accidents happen — we're parents too, we get it. A bond is collected at the time of booking and returned to you at the end of your hire. For damage beyond normal use, repair or replacement costs may apply and will be deducted from your bond as outlined in your rental agreement. If something happens during your hire, just get in touch with us as soon as possible and we'll sort it together.

Do I need to clean the gear?

All gear arrives clean and sanitised. We ask that you return it in the same condition — a reasonable clean and tidy goes a long way for the next tiny trekker. We'll take care of the deep clean on our end.

Can i book last-minute?

We're all for spontaneous adventures — get in touch and we'll do our best. Availability isn't guaranteed, so booking ahead is always recommended.
